seriously clean iPads

How we sanitise our iPads?

For those who haven’t received or missed out our newsletter email in March, we exposed our secrets in sanitising our iPads and other rental equipment. Our hospital-like sanitation protocol ensure our equipment are free of germs for up to 24 hours.

Step 1

Spray alcohol to clean iPad screen
After removing dirt and debris from the iPad, 75% isopropyl alcohol is sprayed to the screen to dissolve the grease and fingerprints. Then, wipe clean with a microfibre cloth.

Step 2

Use NaDCC solution to disinfect the iPad
Another microfibre cloth soaked with hospital-grade NaDCC solution (1,000ppm strength) is used to wipe clean the back of the iPad and the Smart Cover. Leave it to air dry for 24-hour continuous protection.
Why we use NaDCC (sodium dichloroisocyanurate or troclosene sodium)?
  1. It is a standard disinfectant used by hospitals across Europe, UK and the USA proven to kill 99.99% germs including HIV, SARS, MERS and COVID-19
  2. It is listed in US EPA’s “List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)
  3. Before dilution, the NaDCC tablets take up very little space
  4. No rinsing is required
  5. Remains active on our iPads for up to 24 hours
  6. The solution remains active in bottles for at least 1 week
  7. It does not damage or discolour our iPads, the Smart Cover and the briefcases, etc.
  8. It is safe and gentle to our hands 🙂

NaDCC tablets are excellent for fighting the pandemic and day-to-day use. For more detail, please check out NaDCC Store.
